Never Gone

I was always searching
For a heart that wasn't lost
Didn't need much mending
At a high level cost
And there you stood before me
Like a light beam thru the sky
Shinny like a diamond
Rough inside
And the blues of your eyes pierced my soul
Held me so tight, I couldn't let go

Who's gonna write you letters
Who's gonna right the wrongs
Who's gonna be the smile when the laughters gone
Who's gonna be your lover
Who's gonna sing your songs
Who's gonna be the next one when you gone
But you're never gone
Never gone

You are such a blessings
God gave to me
How would I'd ever known
If I didn't believe
You lightened up my mornings
Like the light brings in the day
You love is like a shelter during warm summer rains
And the blues of your eyes pierced my soul
Held me so tight, I couldn't let go

Who's gonna write you letters
Who's gonna right the wrongs
Who's gonna be the smile when the laughters gone
Who's gonna be your lover
Who's gonna sing your songs
Who's gonna be the next one when you gone
But you're never gone
Never gone
And the blues of your eyes pierced my soul
Held me so tight, I couldn't let go

Who's gonna write you letters
Who's gonna right the wrongs
Who's gonna be the smile when the laughters gone
Who's gonna be your lover
Who's gonna sing your songs
Who's gonna be the next one when you gone
But you're never gone
Never gone
You made me believe
Believe in love
